Despite the arrival of new releases ‘Dinky’ and ‘Salaar’, Ranbir’s film is maintaining its place and is still making strong collections in its limited range. Amidst all this, now Alia Bhatt’s father veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has talked about ‘Animal’. He also praised the work of his son Ranbir.
Mahesh Bhatt calls ‘Animal’ a ‘rare film’
Mahesh Bhatt, considered one of the most risk-taking filmmakers of his time, also praised director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s approach while sharing a statement with the media. According to Hindustan Times, Mahesh Bhatt said in his statement, ‘A film like Animal is rare in cinema, which so boldly rejects the rules of mainstream films.’
Bhatt Saheb also looked very happy with his son-in-law’s performance. He added, ‘Ranbir’s performance not only adds depth to the role of this unique Bollywood creature; Rather, because of this (performance) it appears vibrant and full of life.
Praise to the director too
Mahesh Bhatt also praised director Sandeep Reddy Vanga in his statement. He further added, ‘Sandeep’s daring filmmaking and Ranbir’s energy come together to create a phenomenal cinematic journey that has no shame.’
‘Animal’ was released in theaters on December 1 and the work of Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Trupti Dimri along with Ranbir in the film is being liked a lot. People also have complaints about the film. But the public has given a lot of love to the film. ‘Animal’ is very close to collecting Rs 900 crore at the worldwide box office in 27 days.
