Malika Andrews Gets A Restraining Order Against 41-Year-Old Stalker

NBA reporter, Malika Andrews, obtained a temporary restraining order against a New Jersey man, Ahmed Abubakar, amid allegations that he threatened and harassed ESPN personnel.

The order, approved by a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge, was initially brought to light by TMZ.

ESPN took this protective measure on Andrews' behalf due to Abubakar's alleged volatile relationship with the "NBA Today" anchor.

The restraining order was filed against "First Take" presenters, Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim, as well as NBA reporter Dave McMenamin, who is connected to Andrews.

ESPN's statement made clear the seriousness of the situation, highlighting Andrews' increased concerns for his own well-being.
